Danish Fight Night

Danish Fight Night is the most influential boxing promotion in Denmark, and the entity saw the light of day in December 2015, when legendary boxing promotor Mogens Palle (1934 – 2022) made a surprising comeback to the sport of boxing.

Together with his daughter Bettina Palle the experienced matchmaker and promotor, who was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) in 2008, started promoting a new generation of champions and exciting fighters.

For more than half a century the Palle family has kept boxing alive in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Mogens Palle started out all the way back in 1957. Based in a country with less than 6 million people Mogens Palle and later also Bettina Palle has since produced an impressive number of official European champions (27) plus world champions in all four major organizations (WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO) including Mikkel Kessler, Ayub Kalule, Johnny Bredahl, Jimmi Bredahl, Gert Bo Jacobsen, Magne Havnaa, Anita Christensen, Sarah Mahfoud etc.

Over the years Mogens and Bettina has also promoted shows with the likes of Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes, Sonny Liston, Carlos Monzon, Emile Griffith, Victor Galindez, Sandro Mazzinghi, Bruno Arcari, Eddie Perkins, John Conteh, Ken Buchanan, Joe Calzaghe and developed champions and stars in Scandinavia like Tom Bogs, Borge Krogh, Hans Henrik Palm, Jorgen Hansen, Svein-Erik Paulsen, Mustafa Wassajja, John Odhiambo, Bo Hogberg, Chris Christensen, Anders Eklund, Steffen Tangstad, Brian Nielsen, Ole Klemetsen, Mads Larsen, Soren Sondergaard, Thomas Damgaard and many more.

The new generation of talents and prospects from Denmark and the Danish Fight Night stable includes the names of Enock Poulsen, Oliver Meng, Sarah Mahfoud and more.

After the death of Mogens Palle in August 2022 Bettina Palle now runs the Danish Fight Night stable and events by herself, and boxing in Denmark is therefore fully alive and doing well.
